Dr. Matt Campbell is an assistant professor in the MA TESOL program at Wenzhou-Kean University. He has 20 years of experience in English language teaching and in educational leadership. He has taught in Japan, Saudi Arabia, Australia, New Zealand, and China. His educational leadership roles include being director of studies at a language school in New Zealand, and the leader of a team of expat teachers at a vocational college in China.

After gaining a master’s degree in applied linguistics from the University of New England where he researched methods for improving second language speaking fluency, Dr. Campbell went on to earn a PhD from Macquarie University in Sydney. He is passionate about teacher training and helping new teachers who are entering a career in second language teaching.
