When I first entered WKU, academic writing posed a significant challenge. Fortunately, Professor Nathan's weekly writing workshops and one-on-one guidance from multiple professors helped me deconstruct and improve my academic writing skills. This transformed academic writing from an insurmountable mountain into a manageable task. I also had the privilege of joining Professor Ayse's research project, focusing on an in-depth study of Chinese English teachers. This allowed me to gain profound insights and contribute to Chinese English education.
Moreover, Professor Agnes' educational philosophy and methods left the most profound impression on me. She seamlessly integrated picture books with social interaction and emotional learning. Applying this innovative approach, my team and I participated in WKU's 5th Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition, proudly achieving first place. This recognized our efforts and validated the effectiveness of this educational method.Jovi
In summary, WKU has provided me with abundant academic opportunities, helping me gain specialized knowledge and practical skills. The TESOL program at Wenzhou-Kean University has introduced me to a new American educational perspective and a fresh teaching experience. The learning experience here will establish a solid foundation for my future English teaching career.
