Dr. Yingying Jiang, is an educational researcher specializing in research evaluation and assessment, quantitative and mixed-methods research and emerging technologies in education. Her research examines how students’ educational experiences, sense of belonging, daily activities and institutional environments contribute to their overall wellbeing and development. She is particularly interested in understanding the experiences of international and diverse student populations and identifying ways educational institutions can better support students’ academic and personal success. Her recent scholarship examines faculty and student perspectives on AI, institutional policies governing generative AI use and the role of AI in educational transformation. Her work has been published in journals including Higher Education Quarterly, Education and Information Technologies, Assessment in Education: Principles, Policy & Practice, and Journal of American College Health. She has presented her research at the American Educational Research Association (AERA) Annual Meeting and other national and international conferences. She is also actively engaged in professional service through AERA, including service with the Critical Quantitative Methodology SIG.
