Andrew Jocuns 博士现任温州肯恩大学教育学院 MA TESOL 项目助理教授。他是一名社会语言学家，主要研究数字素养（digital literacies）、多模态性（multimodality）、地理符号学（geosemiotics）和多语现象（multilingualism），并采用社会语言学和语言人类学的定性研究方法开展研究。

2023 年 1 月，Andrew Jocuns 博士通过英国高等教育领域教学与学习支持标准框架（UK Professional Standards Framework, UKPSF）的评审，获得英国高等教育学院（Higher Education Academy, UK）颁发的 Fellow of the Higher Education Academy（FHEA）资格。

加入温州肯恩大学之前，Andrew 博士曾在亚洲多所高校担任教学职务，并承担研究生指导工作。他曾指导多名研究生和博士生，其中包括 3 名已完成博士学位的学生。此外，他还曾担任美国联邦政府研究岗位。

Andrew 博士同时担任多本学术期刊的审稿人，包括 Multimodal Communication、Applied Linguistics、Manusya: Journal of Humanities 和 Advances in Southeast Asian Studies。此外，他还担任美国应用语言学协会（American Association of Applied Linguistics, AAAL）年度会议社会语言学分论坛的审稿人。

目前，他的研究主要关注不同社会与教育语境中的多语现象、身份认同、全球公民身份与英语使用，以及语言、身份、空间和社会实践之间的关系。
