Biography
Midya Yousefi, Ph.D., is an Assistant Professor of Educational Leadership at Wenzhou-Kean University. Her teaching, research, and service focus on educational leadership and management, higher education transformation, digital leadership, e-leadership, technology integration, faculty development, and institutional innovation. Her work is closely connected to the realities of universities undergoing organizational, technological, and cultural change, particularly in cross-border and internationalized higher education contexts. At WKU, Dr. Yousefi teaches and supports graduate education in educational leadership in the K-12 context and higher education leadership. Since 2019, she has supervised and examined doctoral research across Ed.D., Ph.D., and DBA programs, contributing to the preparation of emerging scholars and education professionals in internationalized and digitally transforming higher education contexts.
Beyond her university role, Dr. Yousefi contributes to educational development through professional service and institutional advising. She serves as an educational advisor and training expert for local schools in Wenzhou, supporting teacher professional development, curriculum redesign, and educational improvement initiatives. She also advises London Global Education on higher education leadership, global education strategy, institutional development, and digital transformation. Through these roles, she connects academic research with practical leadership, school improvement, and international education development.
Dr. Yousefi is also engaged in wider professional dialogue on transnational education and higher education leadership. Through her contribution to TNE Institute 2026, she supports knowledge exchange on global education, leadership development, and institutional transformation in internationalized higher education settings.
